Drive to the station and hop on the metro! Learn where to find free parking and how to use your Nol card to validate your stay.
To encourage sustainable transport, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) provides massive multi-storey parking facilities at select metro stations. These lots are 100% free for commuters who use their Nol cards for metro travel within a 24-hour window.

Nol Card Validation Process??
The "Free" status is not automatic. Your Nol card is used as your digital key to verify that you are a genuine commuter.
At Entry:
Tap your Nol Card at the parking gate sensor. No ticket is issued.
During Travel:
Use the exact same Nol card to tap into and out of the metro gates for your journey.
At Exit:
Tap the card at the parking exit. The system will detect your metro trip and the gate will open for free.

Pro Tip for Commuters
If you are using a Nol Red Ticket, ensure you scan it properly at the exit. Often, red tickets become demagnetized. If the gate doesn't open, use the intercom to call the parking attendant - don't force the gate!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I park overnight?
Technically yes, but only for 24 hours total. If you exceed 24 hours, even with a metro trip, you will be fined AED 100 for the extra day starting the 25th hour.
Is motorcycle parking free?
Yes, dedicated motorcycle zones are available at Centrepoint and Jabal Ali stations, following the same validation rules.
