What Is the Blue Nol Card?
The Blue Nol Card is RTA’s registered personalized card for long-term, secure, and convenient travel. Unlike the anonymous Silver card, the Blue card is linked to your Emirates ID and features your name and photo.
It works on all Dubai Metro lines, buses, trams, water buses, and RTA parking. The Blue card supports online history tracking, balance recovery, and account management through the Nol Pay ecosystem.
Holders of the Blue Nol Card can recover their balance if the card is lost or stolen. RTA can block the lost card and move the funds to a replacement.

Regular Adult
Open to all residents and visitors seeking a secure, personalized card.
Student (5-23)
Requires valid enrollment proof. 50% discount on standard fares.
Senior Citizen (60+)
For seniors with Emirates ID. 50% discount on standard fares.
People of Determination
Requires Sanad card. Free travel on Metro and Buses.

- Adults: Emirates ID (Front/Back) + Photo (White BG).
- Students: Emirates ID + Photo + Enrollment Letter.
- Senior: Emirates ID + Photo (Age checked from ID).
- PoD: Emirates ID + Photo + Sanad Card / Proof.
How to Apply Online (Step-by-Step)
Visit RTA Website
Go to rta.ae or use the Nol Pay app to access services.
Select Category
Choose your travel class (Gold/Silver) and category (Adult/Student/etc).
Enter Details
Provide mobile number, email, and full delivery address.
Upload Docs
Upload Emirates ID and Photo (JPG format, under 2MB).
Confirm & Pay
Pay the Dh70 fee via debit/credit card. Note your ref number.
Alternative Application Channels
If online upload fails, visit any Metro Station Ticket Office or RTA Customer Happiness Centre with your original documents.
