Eid Metro Timings 2026?

For Eid ul Fitr 2026, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed that both the Red and Green Lines will operate following the regular standardized schedule without significant deviation. However, passengers should expect higher footfall at tourist-heavy stations like Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.

Dubai Parking & Tolls

Free
Public Parking:
  • March 20 - 22: Free (RTA Public Slots).
  • March 19 - 22: Free (Parkin Managed Zones).
  • Exclude: Multi-storey parking facilities.
  • Resumption: Monday, March 23.
Salik & Tolls:

Salik toll gates in Dubai remain Paid unless specifically announced otherwise on holiday mornings. Expect standard charges.

Abu Dhabi Mawaqif & Darb

Free
Mawaqif Parking:
  • March 19 - 22: 100% Free.
  • March 20 - 22: Musaffah M-18 Truck Parking Fee Waived.
Suspended
Darb Toll Gates:

Charges are Suspended from March 20 - 22. Regular tolls resume Monday, March 23.

Sharjah

Free Public Parking: March 20 - 22 (First 3 days of Eid). Note that smart parking zones and blue-signed lots may still apply fees.

Ajman

Paid Parking Exemptions: March 19 - 22. Full resumption of paid services on Monday, March 23.

2. Multi-Storey Lots: Private and multi-storey car parks are usually NOT free. Verify before entering.
