Validity & Expiry Rules
Every Gold Metro Card is valid for 5 years from purchase. For example, a card bought in June 2026 expires in June 2031. The expiry date is printed on the back of the card for easy tracking.
Once the card expires, it cannot be renewed, but any remaining balance can be transferred to a new card at RTA Customer Happiness Centers.
